Okeechobee, Fla. – Congressman Tom Rooney (R-Fla.) hosted a meeting today with school board superintendents and members from across the entire 16th district. Rooney convened the meeting to discuss the needs and concerns of the school board members and how his office can assist.
Washington, D.C. – Today H. Res. 861, recognizing November as National Military Family Month, passed the House of Representatives. Congressman Tom Rooney introduced the resolution to honor our nation’s military families.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Tom Rooney (R-Fla.) has been appointed to the Republican Economic Working group by Republican Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.). The group is working to develop common-sense solutions to the economic challenges facing small businesses and working families.
