Rooney Meets with School Board Superintendents and Members

Okeechobee, Fla. – Congressman Tom Rooney (R-Fla.) hosted a meeting today with school board superintendents and members from across the entire 16th district.  Rooney convened the meeting to discuss the needs and concerns of the school board members and how his office can assist. 

“Today’s meeting was very constructive and helpful for everyone involved,” said Rooney.  “I believe it’s very important to have an open dialogue with school board members so we can all work together to help each other.  It was very beneficial to sit down with all the school board officials from the 16th district to discuss their needs and concerns.”
