MEDIA ADVISORY: Rooney to Host Small Business Forum in Fort Pierce

Stuart, FL – U.S. Rep. Tom Rooney (FL-16) will host a small business forum in Fort Pierce on Wednesday, September 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Rooney’s forum will give small business owners and Floridians thinking about opening small businesses the opportunity to meet with top lenders and small business experts, who will be on hand to provide insights into tax incentives and strategies to access capital.

“Whether you own a small business, work for one, or are thinking about going into business for yourself, this event is for you,” Rooney said.  “This forum will give you opportunities to meet with lenders, and talk to experts about outside-the-box strategies to give you a competitive edge in today’s struggling economy.

“Small businesses – not the federal government – hold the keys to getting our economy back on track.  I hope this forum will help small businesses in the 16th district find new ways to grow, succeed and create good jobs.”
